Welcome to our two new Board Members!
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Ann Cornelius; a housing consultant and former senior housing professional and Julie Evans, former Executive Director of Property Services at Curo Group. Both are Chartered Members of the Chartered Institute of Housing.
Ann joins the board having operated as an Executive Director and Chief Executive in Housing Associations across England and Wales, for over thirty years.
She currently works as a housing consultant supporting organisations with large scale change projects, governance reviews and developing risk strategies. She specialises in working with care and supported housing services to develop policies, improve practice and to assess compliance with regulation. Ann also recently completed her term of office as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of a domestic abuse charity.
Julie also brings a wealth of experience in both English and Welsh housing sectors and as a non-Executive Director at United Communities.
Since joining Curo Group (formerly Somer Group) in 2006, Julie held numerous senior roles including Director of Tenancy Services, Director of Neighbourhood Services, Director of Asset Management and Executive Director of Property Services.
Julie brings a proven track record of success in operational, strategic and transformational leadership roles in addition to seven years’ experience of strategic direction-setting and change implementation.
