MHA and GAVO joined hands to shine a light on Monmouthshire’s unsung heroes at the inaugural Monmouthshire Volunteer Awards, held on 30th October.
The awards celebrated the impact of individuals and groups who selflessly dedicate their time to help our communities thrive and make Monmouthshire a wonderful place to live!
Hosted at Gateway Church in Abergavenny, a local community hub we proudly partner with. The event was alive with radiant smiles, perfectly embodying the award’s theme of community. The winners were kept a secret until the evening of the celebration dinner, making each recognition even more special! The nominations were shortlisted by a small panel of colleagues and stakeholders.
Entertainment was provided by The Rock Choir, who were fabulous!
Congratulations to all our winners and thank you to everybody who took part by nominating.
