Optimised Retrofit Programme
The Welsh Government’s Optimised Retrofit Programme was created to increase energy efficiency and support social housing providers ultimately achieve decarbonisation of their homes.
So what are we doing at Newland Way?
The detailed works will include a combination of retrofit and refurbishment works:

Replacement of concrete cantilevered walkway with new lightweight steel frame structure walkway and deck

Integrated drainage for new walkway

Removal of existing roof tiles and installation of new lightweight metal roof tiles

Strengthening of existing roof truss to support new roof finish

New fascia’s and rainwater goods

Extraction and refill of any existing cavity wall insulation
