Cwtch Angel’s Community Fridge, located on the fringe of Abergavenny Town Centre, is a safe and welcoming space offering a range of services to support the local community.

The Community Fridge stocks essentials including bread, vegetables and surplus grocery items from local supermarkets. A £5 donation can get you a food bag, filled with nutritious items to support the local community and reduce food waste. You can browse a selection of both fridge and freezer bags to choose what you need. With each food bag purchase, you’re not only receiving nourishing items but contributing to reducing food waste! 

If you’re facing financial hardship, the hub will try their best to provide free food parcels, even if they are closed. MHA tenants can also be referred for free food bags, please contact us to find out more. 

Beyond the fridge

Beyond food support, Cwtch Angel’s go the extra mile to support the community in various ways. From offering free prom dresses to ensure everybody can go to the ball, hold annual toy events for seasonal holidays and assistance accessing home and furniture items for those moving in to their first home.

Feel free to call on any day, even if they’re closed. If Volunteers are on hand, they’ll try their best to assemble a food parcel for you.
