Community Funding

We have two funding streams to help support community projects and activities in Monmouthshire – Corporate Sponsorship and Pitch for Your Project.

Are you involved in a group or event based in Monmouthshire that could benefit from some sponsorship? If so, we may be able to help!

Through our Corporate Sponsorship Scheme local groups and events in Monmouthshire can apply for up to £1,000 in sponsorship.

All you need to do is complete an application form which can be found below and if it meets our sponsorship criteria, then we may be able to award some sponsorship – simples!

What is Pitch?

Pitch is an annual Monmouthshire Housing community grant scheme, where projects that are passionate about building stronger communities and having a positive impact on MHA tenants, are able to apply for a share of £25,000. The project must have an objective to deliver a wide range of benefits to the community such as economic, social, health and wellbeing, educational or cultural.

There are two types of pitches to go for:

Pitch for a little bit – for grants of up to £500 which can be awarded without you pitching to judges.

Pitch for a Little Bit More – for grants available for between £501 – £3,000.

Who Can Apply?

You can apply for the opportunity to Pitch to our judges if you are a community group, not for profit group, health body, charity or school. Your project must first and foremost be of benefit to MHA tenants.  The projects must meet the objective of helping create strong communities, improve services within the community and also increase people’s aspirations

How and When Can You Apply?

To apply all you need to do is follow this link to complete the online application form or complete the form in this document. Pitchers for ‘a little bit’ up to £500 will not be required to pitch to the judging panel – awards will be decided at the shortlisting stage.
