    Rent

If you are a tenant, your rent is one of the most important payments you will need to make but we appreciate that your circumstances can change.

If you ever fall behind with your rent, don’t ignore it. We appreciate that it can be a difficult and stressful situation, but telling us first can be the first step in the right direction.

If you’re struggling to pay your rent, please contact us straight away via 0345 677 2277 or customerservices@monmouthshirehousing.co.uk. You can also use Live Chat or Facebook Messenger. Our experienced & supportive Income Team are here to help.

    Service Charges

If you are a leaseholder, you are required to contribute towards a service charge, under the terms of your lease. We are legally required to collect these from leaseholders to help fund the day-to-day running costs of blocks of flats.

The charge goes towards repair costs, insurance and management of the building and administration on our leasehold management service.

    Ways to pay

This is the easiest and most convenient way of paying and our preferred method. Give us a call on 0345 677 2277 to set up over the phone.

A Direct Debit can be set up for any day of the month and for any frequency including weekly, fortnightly, monthly, four weekly and quarterly.

If you use internet banking via your bank or building society’s website or mobile phone app, you can set up MHA as a payee for your rent using Account Number 40601837 and Sort Code 20-01-43

Please ensure you give your account reference or property address when making payments – otherwise we will not be able to credit the payment to your account.

We use Allpay for payments by telephone, mobile app, online and text message.
