Support a family in need this Christmas
Monmouthshire Housing Association is running a gift card appeal for local families whose children wouldn’t otherwise receive a gift this Christmas. With the support of our generous community, we can provide gift cards to families with children aged 0-18 who may otherwise struggle with the financial pressures of the festive period.
The gift card appeal acknowledges that every child has different needs and interests, so provides parents with the opportunity to choose the perfect gift.
How your donation makes a difference
Every donation brings joy to children in families who need a little extra help this festive season. Here’s how your contribution can make a difference:

£5 – A small toy or book, adding a special surprise under the tree for a young child.

£10 – A creative gift like a colouring set, art supplies, or a puzzle to entertain and inspire.

£20 – A cozy gift, such as a warm hat and gloves set, or a toy that encourages learning and play.

£30 – A STEM toy , board game, sporting equipment or a gift card for a teenager, giving them the chance to pick out something special for themselves, like a book, accessory, or personal care item.

£50 – A gift card to cover a bigger item, such as a board game, craft kit, or clothes for older children and teens.

£100 – Multiple gifts for siblings, ensuring that no child in the family goes without a festive surprise.
