Our Leaseholder Handbook gives information on the services leaseholders receive from the Association. It also outlines leaseholders’ rights and responsibilities and our responsibilities as a landlord. Although the handbook is not a substitute for legal advice and does not replace the lease.
Leaseholders are required to contribute towards a service charge, under the terms of their lease. The Association is legally required to collect these from leaseholders to help fund the day-to-day running costs of blocks of flats.
The charge goes towards repair costs, insurance and management of the building and administration on our leasehold management service.
Leasehold Advisory Service
The Leasehold Advisory Service is a Non Departmental Public Body funded by Government to provide free impartial advice on the law affecting residential leasehold property in England and Wales.
