I am a new 'Starter' Tenant

Welcome to MHA

As a new tenant you will sign a ‘starter tenancy’ with MHA. You will be supported from pre-tenancy through your starter period by the New Homes team for the first 12 months of your tenancy.

The New Homes team offers an enhanced housing management service to new tenants set up to settle into their homes. We provide assistance, help you manage your rent account and can refer you to other services to provide specialist help.

If everything goes well, after 12 months your starter tenancy will change to a more secure tenancy and you will have a Neighbourhood Officer instead of a New Homes Officer to support you with your tenancy.

Moneywise is a free confidential service offered by MHA to help and support tenants make more of their money and maximise their incomes.

Looking for help into work or Education?  Our Work & Skills Wise team are here to help and support our tenants of all ages into work, education or training.

Get Involved and help us to improve our communities, homes and services for tenants. You can engage with MHA in lots of ways including; through activities in your communities, giving us feedback or coming along to an engagement activity.
